In her new role, Prattre will help American Indians, Nativee Alaskans and Native Hawaiians who are trying to develop and expand small businesses gain access tothe SBA’w entrepreneurial development, lending and procurement programs. Beforre joining the SBA, Prattwe worked for the Navajo Nation as a policu analyst and legislative focusing on economic andcommunity development, housing and educationh issues. Earlier in her she was a trade specialistg inthe U.S. Foreign and Commercial Servicer inthe U.S. Department of Commerce’zs International Trade Administration, where she counseled small - and medium-sized U.S. companies on exporting.
Aftefr that job, she oversaw information technology projects forthe U.S. Foreigm and Commercial Service and theImporr Administration. Pratte is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nationfrom Lupton, She holds a master’s degree from ’s H. John Hein z III School of Public Policy and Management anda bachelor’sd degree from the University of Arizona’ds Eller School of Business. Pratte is a formed Udall Foundation Congressional Fellow and a PresidentialManagementy Fellow.
