Survey: Despite bad economy, employees hopeful - South Florida Business Journal:

The monthly survey of Florida conducted byHarris Interactive, found the percentagde of workers who are confident in theit ability to find a new job increasedx by seven percentage points to 42 percent in December. The survey also foun 36 percent of workers are likely to look for a new job in the next up 3 percentage pointsfrom November. At the same 71 percent of Florida workerss believe the economy isgetting weaker, comparerd with 72 percent in the previous “Although our latest report shows that workers are overall more confident, by no means does this suggesy that they see a silver lining,” said Paulq Franco, branch manager for Spherion Staffinf Services in Florida.
“It will take some time to work out the as the earliest recovery is predictex to happenin mid-2009.”
